This book is one of adventure and danger. It's about for bears: the black bear Lusa, white bear Kallik, brown bear Toklo, and shape-shifter Ujurak. They all are traveling to the Last Great Wilderness, where all bears can live in harmony with other bears. However, there's a lot of dangers on the way, like little food and territorial bears. However, the bears brave the dangers and continue on their way to the Last Great Wilderness.
I highly recommend this book. It has both adventure and danger. Once you pick it up, it's hard to stop reading it. Overall, it's a great book.
